Here’s a list of what you wil need to bring:

Bedding:

  • Sleeping bag or sheet & blanket

  • Pillow

Clothing:

  • Winter jacket

  • Snow pants

  • Outdoor boots (if you wish to snowshoe, only boots without tall heels may be used)

  • Indoor shoes (e.g. running shoes) (outdoor boots may not be worn indoors)

  • Hat, mitts/gloves, scarf

  • Warm clothing (e.g. sweaters)

  • Socks​​​​​​​​​​, underwear

Toiletries:

  • Towel

  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.

  • Moisturizing cream, chap stick (skin & lips can get sore from cold, dry air)

Other:​

  • Camera, spare batteries and memory card

  • National costume, if you have one, to wear on a couple of special occasions

  • Small, wrapped gift costing $5 for each adult for a Christmas Day gift exchange - please NO food gifts

  • Prepaid calling card (suggested), if you plan to make long-distance phone calls from the
    payphone

If you have the following items, you may bring them, but if you do not, there is no need to buy them specifically for camp:

Musical instruments (guitar, flute, etc.): You will have some opportunities to use them, such as the Christmas pageant or during the cultural exchange.

NOTE: Please be aware that we cannot promise to have private rooms for each family or couple, but we will do our best. Husbands and sons may be in separate rooms from wives and daughters. Please pack accordingly.

Ontario Pioneer Camp does not permit weapons, drugs, nut & nut products and alcohol on their premises. Please adhere to these rules.
